Access from Off-Campus
With our proxy system, you can get seamless and easy access to licensed
electronic resources from off-campus. Simply start finding resources from our library website and click
on a resource link. Then, you will be prompted for log-in
by using your U-mail account username
and password. Once authenticated, you will be
able to access licensed resources
from off-campus.

If you use other dial-up or
cable/dsl internet via an ISP
(Internet Service Provider)
other than UND dial-up, you
will need to set up a proxy
on your browser. To do this:

Activate your U-Mail account
The proxy
server will try to authenticate
you by using your
U-Mail
username and password.

services are only needed when
you use library online resources
away from campus.
(You
can easily turn off proxy
set-up when using other Internet
websites.)
