IMPORTANT:
Your
ip address on your computer is
38.103.63.16 , which means you are
recognized as a remote user.
We
implemented 'Ezproxy' which provides
seamless and easy access to licensed
electronic resources with remote
students.
The old proxy solution required
you to change settings in your
Web browser.
Now, with EZproxy, simply click
on a resource link and log in
by using your U-mail account username
and password. You will then be
able to access licensed resources
from home.
If
you don't have an activated U-Mail
account username and password,
visit ITSS Email page at http://www.und.nodak.edu/dept/itss/email.html.
If you
encounter a problem while using
electronic resources, please contact
the Library Systems Office, 701-777-2774,
or send an email to kwangsoohan@mail.und.nodak.edu
If you use other dial-up or
cable/dsl internet via an ISP
(Internet Service Provider)
other than UND dial-up, you
will need to set up a proxy
on your browser. To do this:
STEP 1:
Activate your U-Mail account
The proxy
server will try to authenticate
you by using your
U-Mail
username and password.
If you have
not yet activated
your account, visit the UND
Information Technology Systems
and Services (ITSS) E-mail
Information page below:
STEP 2: Configure a proxy server
for your web browser
The proxy
services are only needed when
you use library online resources
away from campus.
(You
can easily turn off proxy
set-up when using other Internet
websites.)
STEP 3: Select a database
After
you get authenticated via
Proxy, you can use any Chester
Fritz Library's online resources:
