Students, faculty, staff and unaffiliated borrowers may check out materials from the Geology Library provided they have either a library card distributed by the University or an active Grand Forks Public Library card. Check out slips are provided for unbarcoded maps. Please enter your name, address, telephone, current date, and your library card number. Identify the map by the title, scale and/or report number.

When you check out a book, you are guaranteed the item for 2 weeks. After that, the book may be recalled. When you are notified of the recall, you have 1 week to return the book or you will be charged a fine of $10.00 per item.

You can renew your books online. Items that have not been returned or renewed by the due date will be subject to overdue fees.
