- Faculty must fill out a Reserve Form when placing or removing reserve items.
- Please allow us adequate time to process your material. During peak
times, we may need up to three days processing time.
- Faculty or their departments must provide photocopied and collated
materials.No additional copies will be made by Access Services.
- Access Services is not responsible for replacing missing pages from photocopied items or personal copies placed on reserve.
- Access Services will bill for any lost or stolen reserve materials.
- If necessary, Access Services may bind reserve material.
- We recommend that book jackets be removed from personal copies.
- All reserve materials will be secured.
- Barcodes and adhesive labels will be attached to all items placed on reserve.
- Generally, no more than five photocopies of the same item may be placed on reserve.
- No Interlibrary Loan book can be placed on reserve.
- Access Services assumes that faculty or their departments have complied with copyright laws and regulations.
According to Fair Use Guidelines and Policies outlined in the UND
Faculty Handbook, educators should restrict the use of the same photocopied
material to one course for one semester, unless permission is obtained
from the copyright owner.
