ACQUISITION: This addition to the American Association of University Professors, North Dakota State Records was deposited in the Orin G. Libby Manuscript Collection in May 1988.

ACCESS: Available for inspection under the rules and regulations of the Department of Special Collections.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This addition to the American Association of University Professors, North Dakota State Records consists of four folders dealing with a program involving the University of North Dakota and the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) at the Minot Air Force Base. In 1969 and 1970, a controversy arose involving mismanagement, Air Force interference, and failure to give adequate notice for non-reappointment. An ad hoc committee was appointed by the AAUP to investigate the charges raised. This addition deals with that investigation.
