ACQUISITION: This addition to the Country School Legacy Papers was deposited in the Orin G. Libby Manuscript Collection (Acc.#2004-2718). The material was transferred from UA#57, Center for Teaching and Learning, Dean Vito Perrone Records in December 2004.

This addition to the Country School Legacy Papers consists of a mini-biography written by Vito Perrone, the Dean of the College of Education, University of North Dakota, about Johanna, also called Hannah, (Knudsen) Miller, a pioneer country school teacher. An immigrant from Denmark, she came and taught at Bottineau County, North Dakota, in 1908, after completing high school and normal school in Iowa. She taught in Bottineau County, Kramer, and Lansford schools. The material is undated.
