SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This addition to the Country School Legacy Papers consists of personal remembrances of country schools, by students, teachers, administrators and the general public. Some of the memoirs consist of a questionnaire sent to the recipient by Warren Henke of the Country School Legacy Project. Some of the responses include correspondence, photographs, newspaper clippings and scrapbooks, in addition to the questionnaire. Folders related to a specific individuals are arranged first, with more general materials related to the project arranged last.

Also included are a family portrait/picture of family farmstead about 1910 and a 1910 census of Barnes Co. A marriage license and a partial map of Anderson Co. are included.
