INTRODUCTION
ACQUISITION: This addition to the John M. Baer Papers was deposited
in the Orin G. Libby Manuscript Collection by Art Wood, Washington, D. C., on
December 5, 1986 (Acc#86-1490).
ACCESS: Available for inspection under the rules and regulations of
the Department of Special Collections.
SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE
The addition to the collection includes twelve of John M. Baer's original
cartoons, nine drawn for the national railroad union newspaper, Labor,
which Baer joined in 1920 after his defeat for Congress. The cartoons are
undated.
