INTRODUCTION

ACQUISITION: The North Dakota Elections Collection was originally deposited in the Orin G. Libby Manuscript Collection on November 6, 1977 (Acc.#77-466). Additional donations have been received following most elections, including (Acc.#99-2265), (Acc.#2000-2477), (Acc.#2001-2519), (Acc.#2003-2599), (Acc.#2005-2732) and (Acc.#2006-2867).

ACCESS: Open for inspection under the rules and regulations of the Department of Special Collections.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

The North Dakota Elections Collection consists of political advertisements, brochures, tracts, polemics, newspaper clippings, bumper stickers and buttons. The material relates to elections in North Dakota, as well as national presidential campaigns.
