ACQUISITION: This addition to the Rosanna Gutterud Johnsrud Papers was deposited in the Orin G. Libby Manuscript Collection by Playford Thorson, Grand Forks, North Dakota, on May 2005 (Acc.#2005-2774).

ACCESS: Open for inspection under the rules and regulations of the Department of Special Collections.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This addition to the Rosanna Gutterud Johnsrud Papers dates from 1943 to 1972, and consists of photocopied correspondence, poetry, and translations of a Norwegian book. The correspondence dates from late 1948 to early 1956, and includes an undated letter from Rosanna's daughter Sonja to Playford Thorson regarding this addition. The poetry includes Til Våren by Rosanna Gutterud Johnsrud, as well as her translations of two Norwegian poems; all were published in Sons of Norway periodicals. It also includes her translation of Waldemar Ager's Det Vældige Navn.
