SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This addition to the Rosanna Gutterud Johnsrud Papers consists of material related specifically to Rosanna Johnsrud, in addition to material generally about Scandinavian-American culture. The Rosanna Johnsrud material consists of her correspondence with the Sons of Norway in 1970, regarding a one page entry in “The Fabulous Fourth:” Sons of Norway. This title is the official history of the Fourth District Sons of Norway. The entry about Rosanna Johnsrud regards her 1937 play Dronning Aase fra Slottet.

Material regarding Scandinavian-American culture consists of photocopied papers and programs related to Scandinavian songs and folk dances. The material dates from 1904 to 1976.
