ACQUISITION: This addition to the Stuart McDonald Papers was deposited in the Orin G. Libby Manuscript Collection by Stuart McDonald, Newburgh, Indiana, in May 2004 (Acc.# 2006-2811).
ACCESS: Available for inspection under the rules and regulations of the Department of Special Collections.
This addition to the Stuart McDonald Papers consists of 21 framed cartoons dating from 1923 to 1988. Many are originals, some are prints or posters, and most have been inscribed by the artist. Both political or editorial cartoons, as well as other well-known cartoon strips are included. All cartoons have been arranged in alphabetical order and have been wrapped in scrimweave for storage protection. Photocopies are available for viewing in Box 2, Folders 1 and 2 of this collection.
