The second section contains NDSG meeting materials from 1972-2002, annual North Dakota Study Group meetings summaries, official published handouts from the NDSG meetings, and letters regarding meeting attendance. Also included is correspondence specific to the meetings.
The next section contains preparatory meeting materials. These materials were intended to be read and thought about prior to the annual NDSG meeting, and include articles, newsletters, papers, and other written materials directly related to the concerns of the members of the NDSG. There is one folder from 1995-2002 related to presentations that Louisa Cruz-Acosta made at various NDSG meetings and contain a great deal of poetry and selections related to language and creative writing.
The fourth section contains general correspondence to and from Ted Chittenden dating from 1971-1979 and 2002. Also included is one folder of general correspondence, primarily to and from Vito Perrone and Kathe Jervis. Much of the correspondence contains additional materials like working papers, poetry, and ideas for presentations at North Dakota Study Group Meetings.
The next section includes 10 years of Outlook, a periodical that contains articles related to education, teaching, and learning. Education for Democracy, edited by Kathe Jervis and Arthur Tobier is also included in this collection. This book deals with the proceedings at the 1987 Cambridge School of Weston Conference.
The last section contains miscellaneous documents related to education including children's interview materials, papers on the reading process, a play, and analysis of an approach to education.
