The Ward County Teachers Register is comprised of two books that are both from Anna township. The first dates from October 25, 1920 - June 10, 1921. The second book dates from September 25, 1922 - May 15, 1926. In the books there are a set of guidelines for teachers to follow. Many of the guidelines were state regulations at the time. Also in the book are spaces for students' names, date of birth, days present, days absent, days of non-membership, which was the equivalent of an excused absence, tardies, the name of the text book being used at the time, the grade in school a particular student was in, class statistics for the teacher to figure out at the end of the year, a record of library books, and a record of visitors. There are also a few certificates of perfect attendance in the collection.
