SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This addition to the 1997 Red River Valley Flood Collection consists of the Final Report of the International Joint Commission, entitled The Next Flood: Getting Prepared. The International Joint Commission was an American and Canadian agency which studied the 1997 Flood and made recommendations to avert future floods. The report was downloaded and printed from the International Joint Commission's website, http://www.ijc.org .
