ACQUISITION: These additions to the James D. Barger, M.D. Papers were deposited in the Orin G. Libby Manuscript Collection by Judy Rieke, UND Library of the Health Science, in the summer of 2002 (Acc. # 2003-2596) and July 25, 2003 (Acc. # 2003-2653).

ACCESS: Available for inspection under the rules and regulations of the Department of Special Collections.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

These additions to the James D. Barger, M.D. Papers consist of one graduation gown, one graduation cap, one UND Alumni Association neck tie, and one funeral card from the memorial service for James D. Barger on Monday, April 8, 2002. Also included are three certificates, two plaques for pathology awards, and one honorary gavel for his work with the College of American Pathologists.
