ACQUISITION: This addition to the Dr. Richard Frank Papers was deposited in the Orin G. Libby Manuscript Collection by Mary Margaret Frank, Grand Forks, North Dakota on August 17, 2006 (Acc. # 2006-2848).

ACCESS: Open for inspection under the rules and regulations of the Department of Special Collections.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This addition to the Dr. Richard Frank Papers consists of a broad range of documents covering the whole range of Dr. Frank's life. It includes (among other things) biographical information; birth and education records; documents related to his family, including the effect of the Holocaust on his family, and the death of his parents in the concentration camps, as well as subsequent West German reparations; documents relating to his involvement with various organizations, including the Masons, the Federated Church, the Experiment in International Living, and the Institute for Ecological Studies; newspaper articles written about him, as well as columns he wrote himself; documents relating to his professional activities as a chemist; documents relating to his many activities in the community; and a variety of personal correspondence.
