ACQUISITION: This addition to the Red River Valley Peace Workers Records was deposited in the Orin G. Libby Manuscript Collection by Betty Gard, UND Chester Fritz Library on March 16, 1992 (Acc. #2001-2507).

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This addition to the Red River Valley Peace Workers Records consists of a poster entitled "Peace Garden?: A Citizen's Action Guide to the Missile Silos of North Dakota." The poster was sponsored by the North Dakota Peace Coalition, and published by Nuke Watch of Madison, Wisconsin. The poster has a copyright date of 1986.

The poster outlines the locations of missile silos in the area surrounding the Grand Forks Air Force Base. The poster also has a narrative section that explains the map of locations, the nature of the missile silos themselves, and also outlines steps concerned persons can take in protest.
