SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This addition to the Judge Ronald N. Davies Papers consists of biographical information on North Dakota United States District Court Judges written by Ardell Tharaldson in January 2000. Also included is an essay written by Tharaldson regarding the life of Judge Davies.

Also included are two newspaper clippings from the Grand Forks Herald, reporting on the decision to name the Grand Forks Federal Building in honor of Judge Davies.
