ACQUISITION: This addition to the Grand Forks Street Railway Company Records was deposited in the Orin G. Libby Manuscript Collection by Rolf Ottum, Grand Forks Historic Preservation Commission, on January 27, 2004 (Acc.#2005-2735).

ACCESS: Available for inspection under the rules and regulations of the Department of Special Collections.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This addition to the Grand Forks Street Railway Company Records consists of one bus token, with “Grand Forks Transportation Co.” imprinted upon it. The token can safely be assumed to date post 1936, when the Grand Forks Street Railway Company changed its name to the Grand Forks Transportation Company. At this point in time, the Company also authorized the purchase of buses.
