ACQUISITION: The Central High School Improvement Project Community Advisory Committee Records were deposited in the Orin G. Libby Manuscript Collection by Sandra J. Beidler, Grand Forks, North Dakota, on March 11, 1985 (Acc.# 85-1357).

ACCESS: Available for inspection under the rules and regulations of the Department of Special Collections.

HISTORICAL SKETCH

The Central High School Improvement Project Community Advisory Committee consisted of 30 members. It was formed in the early 1980's to discuss the structural needs of Central High School and the costs and options of meeting those needs. The committee scheduled three meetings and the option of adding more if additional ones were needed. The new addition was formally dedicated on September 27, 1987.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

The Central High School Improvement Project Community Advisory Committee Records contain materials regarding the plans for remodeling and adding on to Central High School, correspondence, various newspaper clippings, and a program from the dedication ceremony.
