ACQUISITION: This addition to the North Dakota Chapter of the National Organization of Women Records was deposited in the Orin G. Libby Manuscript Collection by Diana Mauer, President of the Grand Forks NOW chapter, on January 4, 1991 (Acc.#91-1737).

ACCESS: Open for inspection under the rules and regulations of the Department of Special Collections.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This addition to the North Dakota Chapter of the National Organization of Women Records consists of material originated from both the state and national level. Material related to the National Organization for Women includes a 1979 walkathon kit, information on the 1978 economic boycott of those states which had not passed the Equal Rights Amendment, and miscellaneous mailings.

Material from the North Dakota Chapter includes the constitution and by-laws, correspondence; meetings, agendas, and reports, as well as several issues of the ND NOW Newsletter. The material in the addition dates from 1976-1979.
