This addition to the Milton R. Young Papers dates from 2004 and consists of a paper written by Eva Reffell from the University of Michigan School of Information, on the restoration of Ford's Theater. One such supporter Senator Milton R. Young from North Dakota. Beginning in 1945, Young would spend over twenty years working towards the restoration. His goal was eventually realized in 1968, when Fords Theater reopened as both a memorial to Lincoln and a cultural institution.
