SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This addition to the English Department Records dates from 1940 to 1997, and consists of English faculty personnel files.   Within the files are documents relating to correspondence, tenure evaluations, scholarly and creative work, and publications within and outside the University.   The files are arranged alphabetically with some files, due to quantity, broken into categories by document type.
