SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This addition to the President's Office Records dates from January 1965 and contains an eight page letter from the faculty of the University of North Dakota to UND President George Starcher. The letter spoke about the dangers that faced the University due to higher education demands, lower academic standards for students, and a deficiency in the quality of teaching from the staff.
