This addition consists of correspondence spanning the years 1884-1909. The first document, dated 1884, is a letter to President Blackburn from James Twamley, President of the first Board of Regents. The second document, an act appropriating funds for the maintenance of UND, dates from President Sprague's term. The bulk of the material, dated from 1898-1909, originates from Webster Merrifield's presidency and includes a series of letters from E.J. Babcock reporting on cement tests, as well as correspondence relating to dining services and residence halls.
