ACQUISITION: This addition to the President's Office Records was deposited in University Archives by the President's Office on July 30, 1992.

ACCESS: Available for inspection under the rules and regulations of the Department of Special Collections.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This addition to the President's Office Records dates from 1938-1980. It contains various information on conferences attended by the President, correspondence, and plans and surveys for the Medical School. There are several University Reports regarding Affirmative Action, faculty development, bringing academic computers to the Campus, the roles of the department in Universities and more. The last three folders relate to federal finances in North Dakota in which UND is mentioned. Also included in this collection are two scrapbooks. The first contains articles about Universities and Colleges in North Dakota and dates from 1966-1968. It is in Box 84, Folder 11. The second scrapbook contains information on the UND-Ellendale Campus. There are newspaper articles about a fire that destroyed a campus building, fundraisers, the closure and sale of the campus, a rodeo held at the school, several students from Ellendale who received awards, and sports at the branch. It dates from 1970-1971 and is in Box 85, Folder 1.
