ACQUISITION: This addition to the Oxford House Records was deposited into University Archives by Lillian Witmer in 1983.

ACCESS: Available for inspection under the rules and regulations of the Department of Special Collections.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This addition to the Oxford House Records includes historical sketches which describe the building, meeting minutes of the Oxford House Restoration Committee which give some detail as to the kind of furnishings sought, and a 1980 one line schematic drawing of Oxford House. The materials date from 1909-1983, but are primarily from 1961. Three photographs of the house during Merrifield's stay have been separated and placed in the University Archives Photograph Collection.
