SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This addition to the Nash Finch Company Records consists of two scrapbooks, the first of Frederick Parks Nash containing history of the Nash Finch Company, various articles about Nash Finch, and board minutes of the 1926 annual meeting. The second scrapbook is of Robert L. Nash, chronologically containing copies of newspaper articles and photographs of his life. The addition also contains a copy of Lucille, given to John Nash from Frank Shiller of the Minto Museum, July of 1994. Lucille is the book that Fred Nash gave to Maybel Carl before they were married (Boxcar of Peaches, p.36). Also included are proclamations by Michael Polovitz, Grand Forks Mayor and Edward T. Schafer, Governor of North Dakota declaring "Nash Family Days" to be June 15-17, 1995. The January 1925 issue of News About Share Holders may be found in this addition as well.
