SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This addition consists primarily of Nash Family materials. Of greatest importance is correspondence from Fred P. Nash to his son Robert (1924-1926). These letters contain "fatherly" and financial advice. Also included are two letters written to Marilla Carl from Maybel, her step-daughter, while she attended nursing school in New York City (ca. 1890). These letters relate stories concerning Maybel's training, friends, and relatives. A single, undated, letter from Marie S. Nash to Robert Nash completes the correspondence. All correspondence has been arranged by author, then chronologically.

In addition to the correspondence, a Masonic Temple memorial written to honor Fred P. Nash in November 1926 and a book of verses inscribed "To Fred" from "Father and Mother" is also included in this addition.
